California Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law. This Web page includes the useful booklet "Estate Planning for California Residents" as well as many links to other law and estate planning sites.

California Statutory Estate Planning Forms. This page provides links to information and forms relating to the California Statutory Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care, the Declaration Pursuant to California's Natural Death Act, the California Statutory Durable Power of Attorney, and the California Statutory Form Will. Be sure to read the warnings on this page regarding the use of these forms.

The Trust Wizard. The home page for David A. Diamond, the "Trust Wizard," includes several useful articles, including one on "Estate Planning for the Unmarried Couple."

The Tax Prophet. The Web site of Robert L. Sommers, "The Tax Prophet," contains a wealth of information on estate planning and tax law. Included in the site is an article entitled" Unwed but not Unwise," which discusses some of the tax planning issues that confront unmarried couples.

CataLaw. CataLaw describes itself as "the most efficient tool for finding law on the Internet," and it may be just that. It is a well-organized, easy to use "catalog of catalogs" or "metaindex," providing a gateway to a tremendous amount of legal information.

World Wide Web Virtual Library -- Law. The World Wide Web Virtual Library -- Law is a comprehensive source of legal information. It is organized by subject and includes many links to law-oriented Web sites and search tools.

LawRunner. LawRunner submits your search to the AltaVista database, but filters the request so as to result in more law-related search results and less irrelevant material.

LawCrawler. LawCrawler searches only legal sites on the Internet, making it easier to search for law-related information without getting a lot of irrelevant hits.

American Bar Association's LawLink. Many links to legal research and information resources on the Internet.

Partners Task Force for Gay & Lesbian Couples. This site contains information on domestic partnerships, right to marriage organizations, and more.

Freedom to Marry Coalition. The Freedom to Marry Coalition is a nationwide group committed to winning the right to same-sex marriage. Its home page includes state-by-state information, news, and links to other sites."

Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund. This site contains information regarding "The Marriage Project," a national effort to win the right for same-sex couples to marry.

Equal Marriage Rights Home Page. The Equal Marriage Rights Home Page contains a tremendous amount of information on same-sex marriage, including state-by-state news updates, links to marriage rights groups, articles and references.

Same-Sex Marriage Pathfinder. The Same-Sex Marriage Pathfinder is a comprehensive source of information and resources on the subject of same-sex marriages. It includes lists of pertinent legislation, bills, case law, monographs, law review articles, periodical articles, and Web sites.

Family Q. Family Q describes itself as "the World Wide Web's premier resource for families headed by gays and lesbians." The site includes legal information, lawyer listings, book reviews, and chat.

Rainbow Query. The GLWeb's Rainbow Query provides the ability to search gay and lesbian sites by text or by category.

Human Rights Campaign. The Human Rights Campaign is a grassroots political organization working for lesbian and gay equal rights. Their Web site contains information on same-sex marriage and domestic partnership benefits, including a lengthy list of employers with domestic partnership policies.
